Manicure & Pedicure in Barbados, Delivered to Where You're Staying
A manicure or pedicure with TUTCH covers the same ground a good salon visit would — nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation and a relaxing hand or foot massage, finished in either classic or long-wearing gel polish — except your therapist brings the table, the tools and the polish to you. TUTCH brings certified nail therapists to your villa, hotel, condo, Airbnb or private residence anywhere in Barbados, so sandal-ready hands and feet never cost you half an afternoon.

What a manicure and pedicure actually involve
A manicure starts with shaping the nails, then moves into cuticle care, a light exfoliation and a hand and lower-arm massage before polish goes on. A pedicure follows the same sequence for the feet, with a warm soak at the start to soften the skin before nail work, exfoliation and a foot and lower-leg massage. Both finish with your choice of no polish, a regular lacquer, or gel.
Nothing here is rushed. The massage portion of each service is a genuine part of the treatment, not a token rub before polish — it's often the part guests say they didn't expect to enjoy as much as they did.
Benefits, physical and mental
Physically, proper cuticle and nail care prevents the hangnails, ingrown edges and rough skin that build up between visits, and the exfoliation step leaves hands and feet genuinely smoother, not just better-looking under polish. The hand and foot massage built into every session also eases the kind of low-grade stiffness that comes from a day of walking, sandals, or simply travel.
Mentally, there's a real confidence lift to having your hands and feet looked after on a trip where they're on display far more than they are at home — sandals, pool days, evenings out. It's a small piece of upkeep that quietly removes one thing to think about for the rest of the stay.
Classic polish vs. gel, and booking both together
Classic polish looks just as good on the day but can chip within days, especially against sand, pool chemicals and sun cream. Gel polish is cured under a small lamp and stays glossy and intact for two to three weeks, which is why most guests on a trip of any length choose it — applied early in the stay, it still looks fresh on the flight home. If you already have gel on from home, tell us when you book so your therapist can allow time to remove it properly first.
Manicure and pedicure are priced and booked separately, but the large majority of guests book both in the same visit for a matching, finished look — there's no requirement to choose only one, and your therapist works through both in a single appointment.
Who it suits best
Guests at the start of a trip who want sandal-ready hands and feet for the rest of the stay are the most common booking, usually choosing gel specifically so there's nothing to touch up later. It also suits anyone with an event on the island — a wedding, a milestone dinner, a photo-heavy excursion — who wants a clean, finished look without hunting down a salon and a time slot that fits around everything else.
Residents booking nail care as a standing part of their routine tend to settle into a rhythm of their own, often alongside a regular massage, rather than treating it as a one-off holiday extra.
Who should avoid or check first
Tell us before booking about any active nail or skin infection, a recent injury to the hands or feet, or broken or irritated skin in the area being worked on — your therapist will either adjust the service or recommend treating only the unaffected hand or foot. If you have diabetes, poor circulation, or neuropathy, mention it when you book, since extra care is needed around cuticle trimming and exfoliation on feet with reduced sensation.
If you're pregnant, a manicure and pedicure are generally fine — check with your doctor if you have any pregnancy-specific concern about nail products, and let your therapist know so positioning can be adjusted for comfort, particularly for a pedicure later in pregnancy.
What's included, no upcharge
Nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation and a hand or foot and lower-limb massage are included in every manicure and pedicure we offer, whichever polish option you choose. We provide classic, carefully executed nail care — regular and gel polish — rather than specialty services like acrylics, dip powder, paraffin treatments, or nail art.
As with every TUTCH service, there's no separate charge for any of this. What you see listed for a given option on our menu is the full price for that service.
Durations and pricing

Manicure: $129 BBD with no polish (40 minutes), $139 with regular polish (45 minutes), $179 with gel polish and no gel removal needed (1 hour 5 minutes), or $199 with gel polish including removal of an existing gel set (1 hour 15 minutes). One price applies island-wide, with no travel surcharge regardless of where you're staying.
Setup and what to expect, start to finish
Your therapist arrives roughly thirty minutes early with a portable table or foot station, fresh tools, towels and polish, and sets up in a comfortable, well-lit spot — a shaded veranda or a table on the patio works well for a pedicure, since a soak is involved. A short consultation at the start covers your polish choice, whether any existing gel needs removing, and anything about your hands, feet, or nails worth knowing before your therapist begins.
The pace is unhurried throughout, including the massage portion of each service — this isn't a service designed to be rushed through before polish goes on. Afterward, gel is cured and checked before your therapist packs down; with a pedicure, plan to wear open-toed sandals afterward, or have a pair ready, so freshly polished toes aren't pressed into closed shoes right away.
How often to book
For a trip, once near the start of your stay is the most common booking, especially with gel polish, since the finish holds for the length of most holidays without a touch-up. For a longer stay or as an ongoing routine, every two to three weeks keeps gel looking fresh and is also a sensible rhythm for classic polish or a bare, well-maintained manicure and pedicure.
If you're dealing with an ongoing nail or skin condition rather than routine upkeep, that's worth mentioning to a doctor or dermatologist — a manicure or pedicure complements healthy nail care but isn't a treatment for an underlying condition.
Good for couples and groups too
Manicures and pedicures are an easy, low-key addition to a couples spa day — side by side on a shared veranda while you catch up, with each person choosing their own polish independently. It's also one of the simplest services to scale for a larger group: bachelorette parties, birthdays and family trips regularly book several manicures and pedicures back to back, often alongside massages for the group at the same visit.
Tell us your group size, who wants which polish option and your preferred timing when you book and we'll plan therapist numbers so nobody in the group is left waiting too long.

Frequently asked questions
What's included in a TUTCH manicure or pedicure?+
Nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation and a hand or foot and lower-limb massage, finished with your choice of no polish, regular polish, or gel. A pedicure also starts with a warm soak.
What's the difference between classic and gel polish?+
Classic polish can chip within a few days, especially around pools, sand and sun cream. Gel polish is cured under a lamp and stays glossy and intact for two to three weeks, which is why most guests on a trip choose it.
Can you remove gel polish I already have on?+
Yes — mention it when you book so your therapist allows extra time. Pricing for a gel service with removal reflects that extra time compared to gel applied to bare nails.
How long does a manicure or pedicure take?+
A manicure runs 40 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on polish choice and whether gel removal is needed; a pedicure runs 55 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes on the same basis.
How much does it cost?+
Manicures run $129 to $199 BBD and pedicures run $149 to $209 BBD, depending on polish choice and whether an existing gel set needs removing first. One price applies island-wide.
Can I book a manicure and pedicure together?+
Yes — most guests do, in the same appointment. They're priced separately on the menu, but your therapist works through both during a single visit.
Do you offer acrylics, dip powder, or nail art?+
No — we focus on classic, carefully executed manicures and pedicures with regular or gel polish rather than specialty nail services.
Is it safe if I have diabetes or poor circulation?+
Mention it when you book. Your therapist will take extra care with cuticle trimming and exfoliation on feet with reduced sensation, and can adjust the service if needed.
Do you bring everything needed?+
Yes. Your therapist arrives with a portable table or foot station, fresh tools, towels and polish, and sets up fully in your space roughly thirty minutes before your appointment.
Is it available for couples or groups?+
Yes — manicures and pedicures scale easily for couples and larger groups, with each person choosing their own polish. Tell us your group size and timing when you book.
How often should I book?+
Once near the start of a trip is typical, especially with gel. For an ongoing routine, every two to three weeks keeps gel fresh and suits regular upkeep with classic polish too.
